All residents are required to get a Woodland Village Design Permit (application below), prior to starting any and all landscaping or home improvement projects in the areas visible from the street, primarily in front of the home, but also visible above the 6′ fence, including sheds and solar panels. Be sure to contact the Woodland Village community manager assistant, Dawn Washington, at Associa Sierra North before beginning any project (emails sent directly to the Board will not be acted on).
Be advised that Washoe County Building Department is aware of the Woodland Village CC&Rs and consequently will not grant a building permit (this includes sprinkler systems on up) without a Design Permit.
