Woodland Village Cold Springs – Meet the Candidates Reminder

There will be a “Meet the Candidate” event held on Saturday, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. at 18075 Village Center in Ste. 103.

At this time, Ms. Katie Bouchard, Mr. Derek Schoepf and Mr. Mark Wilson have submitted their Candidate Interest Forms.

There are currently 3 seats open on the Board of Directors for 2019.

Owners that are interested in running for a seat for the Board need to submit their Candidate Forms by Monday, October 28th by 3:00 p.m.

The Annual Meeting information will be sent (if a ballot is required) in early November. We encourage the interested candidates and homeowners to come out and meet.

Refreshments will be served.

Easter Egg Dash (Hunt): 10am START! Gates Open: 9:45am

1st Group:  Ages 0-2            2nd Group: Ages 3-5          3rd Group: Ages 6-8        4th Group: Ages 8-12          

EGG DASH START TIME PROCEDURE: Group 1 will start at 10am, then group #2, etc.  There will be a short transition time between each group.

Find eggs filled with tickets to win a special prize including refurbished bikes from the Kiwanis Club!

5k “Rabbit Run” – 8:30am start

Run or Walk at our Annual Rabbit Run!  Find 2 eggs on the route & be eligible for great prizes.  Entry includes a t-shirt (register by 4/12):

Back by popular demand our own, local monthly Market will kick off at our Easter Event (9am-1pm)!

We have NEW vendors who will bring us healthy, tasty, local food.  Artisans will share their unique talents with a variety of craft & vendor booths, not to mention some of your favorite brand products will also be here. These are family events with bounce houses & food options to give you a great, local day out!

Blood Drive – Donate Blood

The United Blood Service Blood Mobile will be here Saturday April 15th, 9:30-1.

Call the CSFC @ 775-657-6388 to schedule a time to donate.

**Donate blood on Saturday and we will waive the normal $50 initiation fee if you sign up for a CSFC membership**


 All Proceeds from the Easter Event & Markets benefit the Cold Springs Family Center.

CSFC Collects Donations for Lemmon Valley Flood Victims

Many of our neighbors in Lemmon Valley have been hit hard by Swan Lake flooding. For the convenience of Cold Springs residents who wish to help, the Cold Springs Family Center is collecting donations to deliver to the Washoe County Donation Drive for Lemmon Valley flood victims on March 25th.

“Reno, Nevada. March 17, 2017. The employees of Washoe County are asking the community to lend a helping hand to Lemmon Valley residents who have been displaced as a result of recent localized flooding. The Washoe County Giving & Volunteering Committee, comprised of Washoe County employees, is holding a donation drive to support flood victims who are in need of essential items such as food and clothing.

A collection station will be set up at the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office on Parr Boulevard to gather donations for families affected on:

Date: Saturday March 25th
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, 911 Parr Boulevard, Reno

County employees will be accepting essential items such as:

  • Food
  • Toiletries
  • Clothing for adults and children
  • Linens
  • Household items
  • Pet food
  • Gift cards

All donations will go directly to Lemmon Valley residents who have been impacted by the ongoing flooding. This outreach is being coordinated by the Giving & Volunteering Committee of the Washoe County Leadership Program. For more information contact 328-2000.”
